- with their unique blend of trumpet-infused post-metal, hardcore and doom metal, the Karlsruhe-based band Etterath embodies what their name stands for: the experience of enduring an ordeal and the inner conflict that follows; between relief and loss, between order and chaos, between catharsis and burden. An ambivalence that unfolds brutally and delicately in Etterath’s musical versatility.

Founded in 2022, the German quartet is part of the Karlsruhe independent label Iwishicouldstay and released their debut single “Goliath” in 2024, followed by “Picking Scabs” in 2025. Their newest single "Interloper" was released in 2026.
